1 Settu upp prófíl (VPN + vottorð)

Einn prófíll: IKEv2 VPN (PSK, engin innskráning) + mitmproxy rót-vottorð.

1. Ýttu á bláa takkann hér að ofan.
2. Gluggi birtist sem spyr hvort þú viljir hlaða niður prófíl. Ýttu á Allow (Leyfa).
3. Nú stendur "Profile Downloaded". Opnaðu Stillingar (Settings) appið á símanum.
4. Alveg efst í Settings, ýttu á Profile Downloaded.
5. Ýttu á Install (efst til hægri), sláðu inn aðgangskóða símans, og ýttu aftur á Install.
6. Ef það varar við "Unverified" er það í lagi — ýttu á Install.

Aðgangskóðinn er bara venjulegi kóðinn sem opnar símann þinn. Það er ekkert notandanafn eða lykilorð.

2 Treystu vottorðinu

Þetta er annar rofi en uppsetningin að ofan — það virkar ekki fyrr en kveikt er á honum.

1. Opnaðu Stillingar (Settings) appið.
2. Ýttu á General, svo á About.
3. Skrollaðu alveg niður og ýttu á Certificate Trust Settings.
4. Kveiktu á rofanum við hliðina á mitmproxy.
5. Ýttu á Continue.

3 Kveiktu á VPN

1. Opnaðu Stillingar (Settings).
2. Ýttu á VPN (ofarlega). Eða: General → VPN & Device Management → VPN.
3. Kveiktu á rofanum við Island MITM VPN.
4. Bíddu þar til stendur Tengt (Connected). Þú verður EKKI beðin/n um notandanafn eða lykilorð.
5. Lítið VPN merki birtist efst á skjánum þegar það er á.

4 Opnaðu banka-appið

1. Opnaðu banka-appið (Landsbankinn eða Arion banki).
2. Ef það var þegar opið: lokaðu því alveg (strjúktu upp og flettu því burt) og opnaðu svo aftur.
3. Nýju upplýsingarnar þínar birtast núna.

Klárt þegar VPN segir Tengt og kveikt er á mitmproxy.

Virkar ekki?

1. Sýnir enn gömlu upplýsingarnar: lokaðu banka-appinu alveg og opnaðu aftur með VPN á.
2. Ekkert breytist: athugaðu að VPN segi Tengt og að kveikt sé á mitmproxy í skrefi 2.
3. Síður hlaðast ekki: slökktu á iCloud Private Relay (Settings → nafnið þitt → iCloud → Private Relay).
4. Ef eitthvað klikkar: slökktu og kveiktu aftur á VPN.

1 Install profile (VPN + certificate)

One profile: IKEv2 VPN (PSK, no login) + mitmproxy root CA.

1. Tap the blue button above.
2. A box pops up asking to download a profile. Tap Allow.
3. It now says "Profile Downloaded". Open the Settings app on your phone.
4. At the very top of Settings, tap Profile Downloaded.
5. Tap Install (top right), type your phone passcode, then tap Install again.
6. If it warns it is "Unverified" that's normal — tap Install.

The passcode is just your phone's normal unlock code. There is no username or password.

2 Trust the certificate

This is a different switch from installing above — it won't work until this is on.

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap General, then About.
3. Scroll all the way down and tap Certificate Trust Settings.
4. Turn ON the switch next to mitmproxy.
5. Tap Continue.

3 Turn on the VPN

1. Open Settings.
2. Tap VPN (near the top). Or: General → VPN & Device Management → VPN.
3. Turn on the switch for Island MITM VPN.
4. Wait until it says Connected. You will NOT be asked for a username or password.
5. A small VPN badge shows at the top of your screen when it is on.

4 Open your bank app

1. Open your bank app (Landsbankinn or Arion banki).
2. If it was already open: close it fully (swipe up and flick it away), then open it again.
3. Your new details will now show.

Done once the VPN says Connected and mitmproxy is on.

Not working?

1. Still shows old info: close the bank app fully and open it again with the VPN on.
2. Nothing changed: check the VPN says Connected and that mitmproxy is on in step 2.
3. Pages won't load: turn off iCloud Private Relay (Settings → your name → iCloud → Private Relay).
4. If something goes wrong: turn the VPN off and on again.
